As Jordan Brand looks forward to unraveling their 2024 line-up of retro product, we’re learning via @zsneakerheadz and Sneaker Files that the original “Black Toe” Jordan 14s from 1998 are slated to return during the key Holiday 2024 season.
The Black Toe 14s originally released back in 1998 following the end of Jordan’s second championship three-peat, with that silhouette being the last signature sneaker the GOAT actually wore on-court before he rejoined the league with the Washington Wizards. In 2006, a retro of sorts arrived with the quilted stitch pattern and perforations — a detail unseen in the original “Black Toe” version, but evident in others. It wasn’t until 2014 that we saw a true re-issue, complete with the smooth white leather upper panels.
Jordan fans will have to wait a while before adding these to their collection as they won’t be available until the final quarter of the new year. Pricing is also not yet confirmed, but given the “OG” status, expect an MSRP above the standard $200. For now, keep a close eye on our Jordan Release Dates for the latest updates.
